Description: Frankincense Essential Oil is considered a medium scent with lemony-sweet top notes with rich, warm balsamic hints. It's derived from the gummy sap that oozes out of the Boswellia carterii and trees when their bark is cut. The leaking resin is allowed to harden and scraped off the trunk in tear-shaped droplets and steam distilled to yield essential oils. High in alpha-pinene, and other monoterpenes, making it great for immune support. It also helps reduce the appearance of mature skin and scars through its ability to repair skin cells. The respiratory system can also benefit from Frankincense, as it aids illnesses and breathing. It has a deep, rich, grounding aroma.
